I have learned a lot from this course, it was very informative for me and also challenged me. As a native english speaker grammar is taught very young so it was very helpful to revisit the technical aspects of grammar. I found the worksheets very helpful because it teaches you ways that you can teach the content non-native speakers. The lesson plans were very helpful as well as they got me creatively thinking about what I could do to create an effective lesson and also challenged me to think of fun new ideas to keep students engaged in what I would be trying to teach them. I work with a lot of young kids in a recreation centre so we don't use formal lesson plans so the lesson plan activities really helped me look at learning from a more structured view. I took a lot of information away from this course, with a more in-depth look into grammar and the language strengths and weakness of the students I plan to teach I think I will be successful in my quest to teach efl students.
