I suddenly had a crystal clear view of why my teacher was structuring the lessons in the way that she did, and I was able to appreciate how valuable this insight would be on an international level. Not only does the tefl course provide this wonderful insight into a career that is so vital the world over, but the status that the qualification holds also instantly opens doors around the world and provides opportunities that would not be possible without it. As so many economies around the world suffer at the hands of an international economic crisis, employers are becoming savvier when it comes to experience and qualifications, and are constantly looking for reasons to dismiss candidates from the ever-growing pile of CV's in front of them. Therefore having a qualification that will instantly raise your credibility and provide a USP for your employability is essential in a market that continues to becoming more and more competitive. This can be achieved through tefl, as it has become a sign of quality in the results that it produces. Many schools across the globe will not consider teachers without this qualification, whilst others instantly offer an increased salary to those who have achieved it, continuing to ensure that the tefl qualification is an indispensible tool within the international teacher's arsenal. tefl is a course that is recognised around the world and provides fundamental information for anyone considering a career in international teaching. The inspiration for new ways of teaching, the practical use of grammar and how this can be explained, and the applied resolutions to difficult situations all allow the newly qualified tefl teacher to enter the classroom for the first time prepared and with a collection of resources and information to refer back to at any point. For me, this allows the prospect of starting a new career as a teacher to seem far less daunting and actually resemble an adventure that I can't wait to begin.
