I'd like to write about classroom management, as it deals with teaching techniques and skills of organizing and managing the class. It enables to give the teacher knowledge of how to behave in different situations during the lesson, create a good atmosphere around and maintain discipline. In my opinion, classroom management is the main part of teaching, as all the teaching process depends on how you organize the environment around yourself. As for me, a good teacher should be enthusiastic and should really love teaching. To be able to motivate learners the teachers should be motivated in teaching by themselves. To organize students well the teacher should be acted in friendly manner, that's why the teacher has to use gestures, mime, eye contact and confident voice at the lesson. Gestures and mime can add the visual interest and help teachers to explain the material and to manage the class. Good eye contact in the classroom is important to use in order to hold the attention of students and get good rapport with them. The voice is also essential part of teaching as you can change it in various situations. Anyway, whatever the situation the teacher should express the confidence using the voice, mime and gestures. The teacher should organize a group, pair-work or role-play in order to encourage students to interact with each other, help together and speak english more. At my lessons, I try to use different teaching methods such as discussions, role-plays, pair-works and I always use the teaching aids such as visual materials, OHP, computer, board, tape-recorder. It's very essential thing to organize the classroom seats. It can be organized depending of what type of lesson it should be. For example, if it's discussion lesson the teacher can use circles form of seating. It can help students to focus on the lesson and maintain an eye contact with a teacher. Also when you arrange the classroom you should always know the other significant things such as: the age of the students, their nationalities and personalities. For example, if you organize pair-work it's better to put weak students with stronger ones, as it can help weaker students to get explain and clarify things. I believe it can help both students to be motivated in teaching english. It's important that the teacher maintain a good discipline in the classroom, it could be reached only if the rapport is established between the teacher and students. Moreover, students should respect their teacher. In conclusion, I'd like to say that classroom management is not such an easy thing in the teaching process. Anyway, it should be learnt and used. Because if they are inexperienced teachers they can be confronted with various difficulties and the main thing that they have to do is to win students favor and get their respect that's why they need to learn how to manage the classroom. And if you know the grammar well, it doesn't mean that you are a good teacher. To make students to listen to you, to hear you and participate to all the activities is the main point for every teacher and sometimes it can depend only on teachers character and his or her abilities to involve students. I'd like to give an advice for inexperienced teachers in order to get a good atmosphere in the classroom never forget about humor, talk with students and tell them about your life experience and I am sure you will earn their respect.
