I have tremendously enjoyed this course. As a missionary living in a foreign field it has given me and my language teacher ideas for teaching me the language of the country I live in. I am 55 years old and it was a good refresher course in grammar. Grammar is one of those things you don't really stop and think about. The grammar lessons were extremely hard for me as I had to do extra research work because the course materials didn't really give good explanations. But, I realize that most people who take this course are younger and they probably do not need that much of a refresher course on it. As far as how I plan to use this course is to give tutorial lessons to students here in Ukraine who are studying english. It will be a tool for me to meet more people. I also have a group of people that we minister too that have been introduced to a little bit of english, I would call them false beginners, and they would like for me to teach them english. Some are kids, teens, and adult women. This summer, I am planning on having 4 different english camps. One for 4 different levels of students. Then when fall starts I want to start having an english club. I have been asked to come and visit with some of the teachers of english and help them learn how to teach english in a more effective way. The people of Ukraine learn British english which is different than American english. Some of our teens have asked us questions about words they are learning and why we don't say them the same way. I always tell them to say it the way they are being taught. I am so excited to get started.
