I have learnt a lot of things from this course. First of all the roles, qualities and responsibilities of a good teacher and I plan to follow all of them in my classes. This course has taught me the right approach to teach english language. I personally feel if I follow the ESA method to teach english I will have effective results. This course covers in detail all aspects that an english teacher needs to consider right from the classroom dynamics, materials, preparation, activities, students levels, expected problems ,lesson planning, use of body language etc. I will use the lesson plans to plan my classes, make sure all the preparations are done in advance before I start my classes, use authentic text wherever possible apart from the course books ,try to make my classes as interesting as possible and follow the ESA and DEGO methods. I would also use the methods shown to teach grammar, vocabulary, receptive and productive skills, phonology etc. I'm sure if I practice whatever I have learnt from this course my students will not only learn english but enjoy their classes.
