Teaching is as much a science as it is an art...

This course has greatly increased my confidence in esl teaching...

I believe that I have gained so much knowledge on how to teach english as a second language! I feel so much better equipped for not only teaching esl students but also for writing lesson plans...

From this course I have gained a lot of useful information that will allow me to be a better teacher...

On a practical level I've learned a lot: templates for creating lesson plans; variations on lesson plans; including flexibility when preparing; use of pairs and groups; when to engage, study, and activate; how to use teaching aids such as photos, cards, objects, etc...

The only personal gain I received from this course is that it allowed me to review some english skills I hadn't used in a few years...

I think one of the most valuable skills I gained from this course was the knowledge of the ESA process and lesson planning...

The course has provided me with a greater appreciation and understanding of my role as a teacher...

I have learned that there are many more aspects to teaching english than vocabulary, grammar and reading exercises...
