I found this course extremely useful and I've learned a lot from grammar points to classroom management. I think what I gained most was how to engage and relate to students. I learned what techniques work and techniques don't. The ESA template will be particularly because it will help me create fully-developed and useful lesson plans. I also learned that students look to the teacher for numerous of things, advice, for assistance and at times as an entertainer. A good teacher is a person who can be all of the above. I also found the resources helpful; the course units, book suggestions, websites etc… all will be helpful when I become an esl teacher. I will be able to apply them to my lessons and use them as a reference.
