This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

For the past year I have been studying primary education in university and I have been able to teach in several different classrooms. The classrooms I have recently taught in had all english speaking students so this course gave me great insight into applying skills I have learned through studying and teaching in an efl classroom.
This course has also given me the chance to relearn a lot of the basic grammar and language items that I may have forgotten how to teach. These skills are important for me because no matter what level or age I will be teaching in the future my students will mimic the way that I use language. I need to be a good role model and use language in the correct and appropriate way.
Finally, this course has given me several new teaching ideas and theories for teaching all levels and ages of efl students. I think it’s important to use new and different ideas for planning and executing lessons and to be varied and flexible in the classroom. I will incorporate what I’ve learned from this course in my planning, organization and classroom management. I will also use several of the ideas from the engage, study, and activate phases and alter my plans depending on the skill, age, and level of my students.
