I have gained a better understanding of the english language and have learnt how to explain the language in a fun and encouraging way. I have come to appreciate what I have always known but never understood and I have learnt this in a way that I can now confidently pass on to others.
The area that I learnt the most would have to be tenses, this is something that I never studied in english. Having been to a french school when I was younger we did study the tenses in french so I had a good idea about them but we had never sat down in english and studied tenses as they just came naturally to us, we were expected to know them.
Having taught as a horse riding instructor for now just over 5 years, I knew how to do a lesson plan already. During that time I also learnt how to teach different age groups.
Therefore most of this course for me was common knowledge along with some common sense and revision from school!
