There are many different ways to control a class other than raising your
voice. Body gestures and facial expressions can also be used to help
control a rowdy class. Staying silent and letting the students realise and
settle down themselves is also another method.
-There are many ways you can motivate students and that there are
different types of learners. By getting to know your students will help you
understand what interests them. You are then able to accommodate or
plan your lessons around their interests to make it more enjoyable.
-Lesson Planning (and the different ways you can plan a lesson) is
extremely useful and it can help a teacher out in many different ways
such as jotting down extra notes, being able to readily refer back to
previous lessons etc. I will definitely plan all of my future lessons in a
large diary/exercise book.
- Use a mix of different teaching aids will help alleviate the
repetitive 'boring' issue that may arise in lessons.
-Don't just follow the texbook, create your own activities that you think
are suitable and fun for the students.
