This unit tells us about two very important receptive skills - reading and listening. After going through the content of this unit I learnt that one of the most crucial things in teaching is to prepare a student before he or she starts reading or listening the new material. It is highly important to use Pre-teaching vocabulary and Careful selection of texts in the class. If the teacher does it successfully then the students will easily understand the material and will be able to analyze it and and talk about it.
