This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was helpful since I have not taught before but only been taught with strict adherence to the course books or complete ignorance of them. The ideas and suggestions in the unit provided much needed information on how to teach with a different use of course books that it tailored to the teacher's preference and students' needs. This lesson had a lot of really good ideas to do for activities if I choose to follow the ESA function (which I will because it is the format I'm used to). What I might find hard about teaching vocabulary is not going overboard and overwhelm any of the learners. I learned a lot for this unit. It was important because I was able to recognize new techniques to use in the classroom.
