This unit gave an overview of some common challenges for efl and potential solutions. Each class a teacher works with is different and provides different challenges. When reflecting on this unit I was reminded on the first unit which discussed an effective teacher as not one that prioritizes teaching but prioritizes student learning. Being empathetic to the needs of our students will help us be better teachers for them.
