This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit focuses on the skills of teaching new languages. It starts by talking about teaching new vocabulary and how to choose words to teach. It also talks about what students need to know about vocabulary words and how to teach them. It then talks about introducing grammatical structures and what information is needed about them. It then gives techniques for presenting these structures. Finally it talks about teaching language functions which is taught best within the activation stage. More creative lesson plans are helpful for teaching this.
