Since I've never done any professional teaching before I found this unit very useful on just learning how to be a teacher and how to talk to students and to consider factors such as seating arrangements and the amount of teacher talk time that I have never considered before. One of my biggest worries in becoming a teacher is maintaining discipline and I appreciate the tips on building a good rapport and other techniques to help maintain discipline. I know tips such as using a student's name at the end of a question and using an overhead projector so as not to turn your back on the class will be of great help to me in the future as a tefl teacher.
