This unit helped me differentiate the various future tenses as well as present simple and continuous tenses. I learned that the Present Simple may be used to suggest a more formal situation or an impersonal tone. I learned role play exercises are a good way to help students understand the Present Continuous tense. Having students role play will help them become comfortable speaking in various tenses. I recognize this may be very difficult so it is important to engage the students and have them contrast their practice to other supplemental material.
