This unit was very similar to the unit on present tenses but was very helpful to refresh on the different past tenses. One particularly interesting segment of the unit was the one pertaining to irregular verbs. It's difficult to imagine teaching these verbs to younger students as the only explanation I could imagine giving them as to why irregular verbs don't follow the typical past tense rules is simply because it would sound funny.
