This unit was an overview of basic grammar. I found this unit helpful in learning how to describe parts of speech and their functions. Things that seem basic for a native english speaker can be hard to describe to those learning the language; what sounds natural to us can be something filled with rules that we don't often realize are there. I am glad to review what I already knew about common parts of speech such as nouns
