This course has helped me a lot both as an english instructor and as an efl user myself. First of all, it has structuralized the english grammar into basic blocks which are explained concisely yet thoroughly. I have learnt extensive grammar when doing the A-levels yet the course's materials provide essential help that I could later explain in a much simpler way to the class. Furthermore, what I have gained is the knowledge of how to organize the class effectively, from the classroom formation arrangement to activity applications, and the most important of all, planning lessons applying the ESA approach. I am also prepared to deal with possible classroom problems and different learner groups, which are useful for not only english teaching but also any other teaching purpose in the future.
I have already started my teaching career while I was doing the course, so it has been very helpful and rewarding for me since I could apply and experiment with the course's theories during my different classes. After taking the course, I have been more aware of the importance of lesson planning as well as activity resources. During my teaching time, I have tried to apply different types of ESA lessons.
