This course has been of great value to me. I have been working with children of all ages for over 5 years now and although I picked up a lot of experience over the years, learning from others and from just being in the classroom, this course has been an eye opener for me. A lot of the little details of teaching that I see so many teachers fail to put into practice just out of habit have become necessities for me. I am also about to start my PGCE and working on these lesson plans has been great practice for me. I hope to use this course to continue teaching my ELS classes and hopefully use the knowledge I’ve gained throughout these 20 units to be a better teacher to the children. I live in an Arabic country, but english is my first language as I was raised in ireland as a child. There has always been a benefit in being able to communicate with the children in their native tongue as well as the language they want to learn, and now after this course I can but that benefit to great use.
