I gained a lot of information that I had either never learned before or might have forgotten about. The course is a great refresher in terms of re-introducing certain aspects of english grammar that native speakers often forget. As a current assistant language teacher, this course has definitely helped me as a teacher; it has provided various teaching examples and activities I have learned to incorporate into my teachings. Having to consistently create lesson plans for the course has helped me to improve my lesson planning skills. Understanding the importance of every individual activity allows the teacher to make sure time is being used wisely. I plan to use the course as a reference when I reach obstacles in my teachings. So far, it has provided endless examples and guidance. The break down of the different tenses and voices are a great help because it is very hard to explain them to non-native speakers. The course has also given me a plethora of activity ideas. Before starting the course I only knew of a handful of engage activities and now I feel like I have a wide-range of options to choose from and use. The course has instilled confidence in me and I feel that I know how to teach my students even better now.
