I have learned many things about teaching students effectively. While I was living in mexico I tutored and gave private english lessons. I understand now how I could have made those lessons more effective by using more interactive activities. I did understand the basics of a foreign language class because I have studied foreign languages previously. The knowledge that I have gained through this course will greatly aid me in my future ambitions. The lesson plans and formatting will give more structure and organization to what I am doing as a tutor or as a teacher. Also I have purchased many of the books mentioned in the introductory lesson to help build strengths in my teaching skills. I am excited to move on to another level of teaching and am looking forward to the other classes I will be taking with ITTT.
