TEFL Courses Kuala Lumpur

I feel that I have greatly benefited from this course! I only wish that I had started this sooner in my teaching career. I have a better understanding of grammar and verb tenses, and more importantly, a better idea of how to teach these topics. Since I’ve already started teaching, I am able to compare how I was already teaching to “proven ways” of teaching, it’s never too late to improve on or incorporate what I’ve learned into my lessons. I know how to make my lesson plans more detailed, and what to prepare for in different situations, as well as how to handle those situations. I feel I can more accurately evaluate my students now, since I now know what to look for and how to test them. Since I’ve taught both adults and children, this course has helped me define the different teaching methods needed for each age group, as well as for different english abilities. But most of all, this course has given me the skills and confidence that every teacher should have before walking into a classroom! Even though my time overseas is finished, I still plan to use what I’ve learned in the US as I continue to volunteer teach, just as I had done before I left. At times, a teacher is still a student.
