TEFL Duisburg

Throughout the course, I learned lots of things I didn’t know back then. I gained something that I won’t be able to find in a country where foreigners don’t often teach. I studied english in a country where they teach english with non-native speakers- that is why there were a lot of misunderstandings in learning the language. The course also helped me to be more aware of my language and gave me ideas to be of use in a classroom. Understanding how the dynamics work in a classroom is a real help too, especially for me who still doesn’t have any formal teaching experience at all. Being aware of what kind of problems I might encounter will gear me up to prepare before going into the real thing. This is important for me because first impressions last, so it’s better to be prepared than nothing. I took this course because of the lack of non-japanese tefl trainers available in my area. Even if there is, those are just for native japanese speakers and those who are already employed by a certain company just training them for work. But just recently, I’ve been attending a specialized program for teaching children in grade school. And I’m planning to share what I had learned through this course as a non-native english/japanese speaker. I would also be able to use this course as a useful guide if there would be chances for me to teach here in japan. I’m also looking forward to use the materials and lesson plans I’ve created while doing the course.
