There were several things that stood out to me in this course. First of all, the brush-up on grammar and language rules was very helpful to me. Being required to explain things helped me think through them, and it will allow me to explain those same things to my students.
The lesson planning was a big help to me. The template gave me a starting point, and helped me gather my thoughts. I expect to enter my classes more prepared (and therefore more flexible as well).
The consideration of different teaching methods, and the clear explanation of the ESA method was a benefit to me as well. I like that approach, and intend to implement it in my classroom (at least in some ways).
