Doing this course was a good experience for me. Even though it was not a very long course I feel as though I have achieved something big that will become very useful. It is very different to anything I have done before, and something I thought I would not be able to do, but I am happy to say that I am proud of myself for being able to complete it. I really enjoyed it because it is so different to my everyday work and also I underestimated my own capabilities, I am dyslexic and so thought I would never be able to do something like this, let alone understand, learn from it and complete it. So I am happy with myself for finishing this course, even though I had some units returned that I had to redo.
Now that I have completed this course I feel as though I could make a teacher of myself, and I wish to teach young learners. From a personal experience, I have really enjoyed travelling, and some of my best experiences in life was travelling and seeing things and enjoying things that I never planned to experience. I remember being in egypt with a couple of friends, and we were walking through a village in Luxor and ran into a group of young kids kicking a soccer ball around, and they let us join in with them. It was really special. We couldn't speak each other's language, but somehow just by playing with them felt like we had a whole conversation. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced. This is what inspired me in the first place to want to work with young kids, and by completing this course now, I hope that maybe I'll be able to find a job working and teaching with young learners around the world that my heart can be a part of too.
