TEFL Huhehaote

This course has helped me in many ways. It has helped me be able to see how to structure a class correctly and has put into words what I have been experiencing these last 2 years as an efl kindergarten teacher. I have gotten many ideas on activities and really like the ESA structure for my lesson plans. That should help a lot when I go to create my own lesson plans. The last 2 years I have just been assisting and my first year I was extremely nervous to teach a class on my own because I didn’t know how to handle the class and what I was doing, but now besides being a little nervous or shy I have the mental knowledge to teach a class on my own and am looking forward to it. I also was unable to explain most of the grammatical points of the english language and felt extremely uncomfortable if I had to try and explain it in a 1 on 1 lesson. At least now I have the resources to look up the answers and have a basic understanding on how I can explain it to the students in language they might understand. I am glad I took this course and I am hoping I will be able to put into practice a lot of what I learned and enter the classroom and more knowledgeable, confident, and competent teacher. I am also hoping that this certificate will help me find a job in a school or academy in Madrid, spain because I live there and my past contract in Andalucia is up so I need to find a new job and in spain I really enjoyed working with the young learners, but it would be cool if this certificate could help me find a job where I get to work with young learners but also experience a variety with maybe some adult students and business classes. I will also be able to be a better private tutor because I will actually be able to explain the grammar laws they encounter and run my classes a little differently to better use the time and encourage the students.
