Unit 9 is on lesson planning and weather it is important to have a written lesson plan or not. There are three main reasons to have a written lesson plan. 1. Aid in planning. Goals for what the teacher would like the students to be able to achieve by the end of the lesson and how the teacher will go about it. 2. Gives the teacher something to stay on track but should not be a word for word script. 3. It will also act as a record of what the class has gone over and the materials used. It will also aid a substitute if you are unable to make it to work.
