This unit had two videos showing a good and bad example of teaching english. In the first video the teacher makes several mistakes. The teacher walks into class with an overly assertive and intimidating attitude. This cause the students to be reluctant in their participation with the class. In the second video the teacher is more friendly and patient. He also effectively uses the ESA method by using pictures. The activate phase was a pair grouped activity where the student created imaginary animals and then described their habitat.
