this unit discussed teaching pronunciation. The phonology section talked about the intonation and stress patterns of english. The basic patterns of intonation were given as well as explanations of when they are used. How to find the stress of a word was also covered. The lesson then moved on to discuss physical pronunciation by describing the different types of sounds of english and how they are produced in the mouth. The lesson also included the phonemic alphabet. I think this lesson could have given some more concrete rules on pronunciation. This would be helpful to know for students who come across new words in reading.I think it would be helpful to have some guidelines to give to students
