I learnt a lot from this unit with regard to the different methodologies and techniques. Some of the techniques I have not heard of prior to this and they are especially interesting. Some instances are The Silent Way and Suggestopedia. Language learning is closely tied to psychology of learners and it is especially useful when we have some knowledge of learners' psyche. Grammar translation as an archaic method also makes me think about putting the other methodologies I have learnt here into use in the classroom to make it more interesting and stimulating for the students.
