Unit 12 has taught me the importance of productive skills: speaking and writing. There are many activities that a teacher can use to get the students thinking and speaking english. It will take some time planning and creativity on my part. I will need to be sensitive to other cultures since english will be very difficult for them to form since their own language may be far off. I will also need to be sensitive during the accuracy activities and not overcorrect for fear to deflating their confidence. The fluency activities should be fun and I will need to give all students an opportunity to participate. I feel that writing exercises may take up precious classroom time to get them started on the exercise
