The first video was shocking and made me feel very sorry for those students. The use of this video allows one to start thinking about what works and what may not and how one could do things differently. The videos allow one to evaluate one's own practices against those of the teacher in each of the videos. Also it was helpful as one could begin to recognise features of the lesson plan and identify the type of ESA and identify the phases.
