I have personally learned how to categorize verb tenses properly as in Unit 4. I have also learned that lesson plans are invaluable. I think extra worksheets are important too. I found watching how a good teacher interacts with his class. It was interesting to learn how the class responded to the teacher who really didn't enjoy what he was teaching. This course has given me the confidence I needed to teach english as a second language. The structure was great and the teaching methods and styles will be extremely helpful. I learned how to make learning english interesting and fun. I am confident that I will be able to apply what I learned in tefl to whatever course I am hired to teach in thailand.
