I feel a lot more confident going into my job in October thanks to this course. I feel I have a structured methodology and a resource to look back on if anything ever slips my mind. I plan to mix my lessons up and keep them engaging for the students while simultaneously focusing on what the students desire to learn and need to learn. I feel I am not going in completely blind and, even though I am nervous, I feel as though I have a good idea of what to do should problems arise. To put into action what I learned, I will take suggestions from the course as well as resource books, and my own imagination, to create lessons that are structured in a logical and entertaining way to maximize student enjoyment and retention of the english language. I will not panic if something goes awry as I will be prepared ahead of time - I will always be one step ahead as this course emphasized the importance of planning and being ready should something not go the way as planned. Overall, I feel much more prepared than I did before this course and am glad to have taken it.
