This course has taught me the different aspects that are required and necessary in a teacher and the specific aspects of teaching english to foreign students that is important to recognize to fit the needs of students. The course began by refreshing my own personal knowledge on grammar, and continued to add onto my knowledge by teaching me how to present english concepts to students. I think knowing english and being proficient in english is a crucial part in the role of a teacher, but more than just one's proficiency is the ability to translate that proficiency to the students. I learned the different methods and mediums I can use when teaching and I plan to put what I've learned into practice when I teach english in Korea next year. This course has given me the confidence to teach students and given me ideas to not only teach my students but engage my students.
