I have gained a lot of useful knowledge for teaching english as a Second Language. I have learned how to write lesson plans that are geared for the level of the students as well as covering course material. It was very helpful to review the different parts of speech & future tenses. I will use what I learned in teaching receptive skills, productive skills and pronunciation and phonology. This will help me to be a great tefl teacher. I learned the importance of testing and I will use diagnostic tests in the beginning to understand what level the students are at. I will also use tests for evaluation and progression during the course I teach. Overall, this tefl course was very helpful and I am much more confident in myself as a tefl teacher.
