TEFL Minsk

I learned quite a few things in this course. Most notably were the grammar review sections. Many of these I have not studied in many years. I also learned that I need to study a few more english grammar concepts to be a very effective teacher. I also refreshed my knowledge on using lesson plans, which I have not used in over 3 years. I learned how they can help me map out a class a little better, and help things to run more smoothly. I feel that when I use them in the future, I will be able to fill them out much more quickly and effectively, due to the practice in this class. I also learned quite a few new techniques for teaching in the classroom, in the form of the ESA format. Soon, I will be returning to South Korea. I feel that this course will help me to secure better positions, and more effectively teach the students in my classes. I hope that if I am confronted with the prospect of teaching younger students, I will have a little more confidence than I did before the course. I was also able to retroactively look at my teaching style, and see aspects of my teaching that needed improvement. Most importantly I hope that I will make my classes more fun and entertaining for the students that I teach. I realize that my classes may have seemed boring to students in the past. I hope that after this course I will feel much more confident in every aspect of my teaching.
