I've personally gained a new insight into the tefl field. Learning about tefl is no easy thing and there are many exhaustive sources discussing tefl. For me, learning about the various types of practical issues that arise when one teaches english to speakers of other languages is quite indispensible. It is good to know beforehand the types of problems you will run into so that you may prepare for them. Another great thing I've gained from this course—ideas for lessons. As a teacher, coming up with fresh lessons may seem difficult as the needs and desires of students change. However, this course helped by providing more timeless strategies in order to make sure that the teacher has necessary skills to find new approaches. I will put this into action in my classroom by preparing my lessons beforehand with backup material. Ensuring issues are prepared for beforehand really aids in the flow of the experience in the classroom. Another way this learning will come into my future classroom is to provide a “Getting To Know You” type game at the beginning of every course. Knowing your students is a crucial component of being a good teacher. Catering lessons to their interests and needs may help speed up the process of language acquisition. I feel well equipped to go into the classroom and produce a successful learning experience for students.
