Studying for the course has been a great experience. The techniques I have learned are all very helpful, and I hope I am going to have a chance to use them soon when I go back to Europe to teach english.
First of all, the course gave me confidence in teaching english. What's more, it gave me ideas and plenty of tips on how to deal with students on a daily basis. The emphasis on lesson planning taught me a great deal: it guided me step by step on what should be included in every lesson stage.
After completing the course I'm confident with planning fun lessons, and sharing my knowledge with the students. Most importantly the tefl course showed me what I really want to pursue in life, which is going back to school to study Linguistics.
I'm grateful for having the opportunity to study for the course even without prior teaching experience.
