I have learned that students learn best when the teacher is engaged in the course and excited
to be teaching. There are many ways in which you can make a class interesting and specific
to each class. I also learned that students learn best when things are done consistently and
with continuity. The age of the student usually depicts their willingness to learn what you are
teaching them and will also have a huge impact on why the students are there. All of these
aspects need to be taken into account when teaching so that the students get the most out of
the class as they possibly can.
I am moving to the Dominican Republic to teach at the international school and this course will
definitely help me teach the students in a way that best suits them and so that they comprehend as much of the material as possible.
