I have gained a great deal of knowledge about grammar, and ways to explain difficult concepts to students. I have learnt how to lesson plan and ensure that my lessons contain Engage, Study and activate sections. The use of the activate stage in my classes has really improved class dynamics. I have learnt skills relating to teaching reading and listening as well as speaking. I found the section on phonology and pronunciation particularly useful. It will take time, but I plan to gradually implement as many ideas as possible from the ITTT course into my lessons and start giving myself feedback in order to ensure that the students receive the best english education that I have to offer.
