The two biggest things that I gained from this course are the ability to logically plan a lesson that will flow well and that will help students learn and confidence that I can teach english learners. A lot of the skills needed to teach are not difficult, but having them laid out for me systematically has given me the confidence to step forward knowing that I will know how to address to classroom well, be prepared, and be equipped. As I step into the classroom I will teach using a lesson plan, being patient, being observant and seeking to know my students and what they need to succeed.
