We have personally gained quite a bit of knowledge while taking this course. Being native english speakers, we have learned the specifics of the language that we tend to take for granted. We have also learned how to properly teach non-native students the language. We have acquired the ability to produce lesson plans tailored to different learning levels and we have come across some new and exciting activities to do in the classroom to help keep learning fun and engaging. I plan to take everything that I have learned within this course and apply it while teaching foreign students abroad. Haven taken this course, we now feel much more confident on how to teach properly and how to keep students motivated and excited about learning the english language. We feel more excited about this opportunity to explore new cultures and can't wait to start this portion of our lives.
