This course has taught us many things. The grammar lessons have been extremely helpful. Certain grammatical rules that are used in everyday conversation have been explicitly laid out so we understand exactly what is happening. This makes it much easier for us to explain to the students what it is they should be adhering to. The lesson plans have also been very helpful. Prior to this course, planning an hour long lesson for a group of efl students would have been nearly impossible. With each lesson plan, it has gotten easier and more fluid. Ideas for activities and engagements will definitely aid us in the future. Learning how to deal with different types of students will also help us understand where each student is coming from.
