I learned that there is no set lesson plan. teachers must be ready for any scenario and be flexible enough to adapt to them. Every class is different; therefore, their needs would all be different. So I will use this lesson to constantly remind myself to get to know my class well enough to be able to teach them all effectively. I also learned that establishing rapport with the students and to create a fun and comfortable working environment for them is a necessity. Students won’t learn as well if they are scared of being ridiculed or judged by the teacher or other students, so I will include as many team building activities as possible within lessons to have students be comfortable with each other. Hopefully, with confidence, students will be able to find confidence within themselves in learning the new language as well.
