The main thing I have gained from this program is a sense of organization. Before taking this course, I thought I could be a teacher and help others learn english, but I had no idea how to plan a class. I didn't know about how to engage a class to get their attention, or what order to put my activities in. I also did not know how long each section should last or anything about the pace of students. I now have a much better grasp on how to organize a lesson. I learned the balance between how much study work to do versus how much active work to do.
I plan to use this knowledge to create the most effective and interactive lessons possible. I am a creative person with a degree in design I want to use my talent in this field to create my own worksheets, games, puzzles, and role play activities. I want my students to feel enthusiastic and motivated to learn english. I do not want my students to be bored or frustrated, but rather enjoy the class so much they do not realize how much they learning.
