TEFL Yongcheng

I personally have gained quite a few things from this course. It has given me a different perspective of the english language. Not as a native speaker or at least someone who has dreamed and has breathed in english since a very small child. But someone who wants to learn the english language in a fun, comfortable and respectful manner. This course has taught me different teaching skills and ideas, that I will be able to use with confidence for years to come. This course has shown me of how goal oriented I can be without any encouragement and motivation to keep on writing and thinking. Along with everything else this course has covered classroom management and grammar rules. This course has given me knowledge that along with my personal patience and love of helping other people will be very useful. The course even included the mind set that a teacher needs to have to be respected by the students. The course itself was structured well. I would like to mention that the tutoring was important and appreciated. A big thank you to Peter for his support. Can anyone teach? Maybe. However, just as the CD in Unit 10 showed that it is all about what you personally put into it. Do you put your heart and soul into it? Or do you just treat it as a job you get paid for. A teacher that puts their heart and soul into it along with being personable and speaking with a positive personality and attitude will make the class lessons more interesting for the students. All of this is what I plan on putting into action.
