The greatest things I’ve gained from this course are confidence in answering questions about and a greater ability to effectively teaching english grammar. I have also been able to collect a great amount of ideas and resources for lesson planning. Thanks to the way the course is structured, I now have a good framework and collection of material I can use in my own classes. I also plan on putting the skills and theories I’ve learned into practice when I teach. I like the ESA method and always ending lessons with an activate stage. I have started incorporating that structure into the classes I teach now. There are still many concepts I want to slowly introduce into my lessons and courses but it might take some time and some compromising with the teachers I work with at the moment. I think I will make full use of everything I gained in this course after I finish my current contract and move on to my next job. Despite how challenging the course may be and how insignificant one might find certain tasks, I think that they all serve a purpose and I learned a lot from this. I am glad I took this course.
