In this unit we were given to teaching examples. The first video illustrates how it should not be done. The teacher is unengaging and dismissive. He gives the impression that he himself does not have a clear understanding of the subject. He does not call on an individual student because he has not taken the time to get to know their names. The second video shows an improvement in the way the teacher approaches engages and involves the students. He smiles more and as a result the students feel more relaxed and are more willing to participate in the class. The subject matter is also more clearly explained.
